Bread & Butter Fashion Show is back to Barcelona 2015 by Sun Radio Ibiza

For the gastronomic and catering industry this is a positive sign, because the crisis in Spain is a bigger problem for the tourism industry in January and February..

(firmenpresse) - Sun Radio Ibiza - The urban fashion fair's Winter 2015 edition is to take up the majority of the city's Montjuïc-based trade fair halls. A third annual edition will held in September 2015 in Seoul. The fair's return to Barcelona consolidates its position in the textile sector and international fashion world.

Urban fashion show Bread & Butter will return to Barcelona's Montjuïc exhibition centre next January 8-10, taking up 100,000m2 of the trade fair venue. The show was held in Barcelona between 2005 and 2008. One novelty next January includes a large exhibition space at the foot of the Palau Nacional dedicated to exclusive brands.

The fashion show's management want to return to Barcelona to recover the Mediterranean market and because of its climate. They also want to freshen up the fair in the face of strong competition from other well-known events in European cities including its home base in Berlin and Amsterdam.

Bread & Butter is extending its market reach to include a new city base: Seoul will become the fair's first foray into the Asian market. The South Korean capital will host its first Bread & Butter from September 3-5, 2015. Organizers are also looking at the possibility of launching a fourth edition in a city on the American continent.

The last edition of Bread & Butter held in Barcelona was in January 2009. The event was attended by 80,000 people and generated an economic impact of 100 € million. It was at that event organizers announced the show would return to Berlin's trade fair, in the Tempelhof airport, after the City Council there offered the exhibition space free of charge. To fill the gap in Barcelona's market, local authorities here created a show called The Brandery, but this event did not consolidate and its September 2013 edition was cancelled.

Barcelona is happy for Bread & Butter's return, the Fira de Barcelona trade fair has strengthened its position in the textile and fashion sector. And for the first time this year the trade fair organized the Barcelona Bridal Week, a wedding fashion show, and Denim by Premiere Vision, which until now had been held in Paris.

A lot of restaurant owners around the exhibition centre at Plaza Espanya are planning special offers during the Bread & Butter Fashion Show to become a part of it and to get more clients.
