(firmenpresse) - Rosatom State Corporation has launched a regional center in Western Europe headquartered in Paris. This was announced at the first World Nuclear Exhibition, held in Le Bourget from October 14 to 16.
The center has been founded as Rusatom International Network subsidiary – Rosatom France, which is registered in Paris. The company is tasked with developing international business for Rosatom's divisions by forging mutually rewarding partnerships with European companies and seeking out new business opportunities. Andrey Rozhdestvin, a regional VP of Rusatom International Network, has been appointed as the CEO of Rosatom France.
‘The opening of Rosatom France, a regional center, is not only another milestone in Rosatom's global presence, it is also a logical move in the development of cooperation with French and European partners, the history of which goes back decades. It was through France that Russian uranium products made their way to the European and then to the global uranium market. A lot has changed in the world for more than 40 years of cooperation, but we have remained reliable partners demonstrating unquestioning commitment to fulfill our obligations,’ Kirill Komarov, Rosatom's Deputy Director General for Development and International Business, said.
‘Rosatom's regional centers are tasked with looking for new contracts for Rosatom's businesses, on the one hand, and with making us as close to the customer as possible to meet the customer’s expectations and requirements, on the other hand. Rosatom France is a part of Rosatom's network of centers which are located in Prague, Kiev, Singapore, and Johannesburg,’ Aleksander Merten, President of Rusatom International Network, JSC said.
Andrey Rozhdestvin joined TVEL, a subsidiary of Rosatom State Corporation, in 2003, he was appointed as a TVEL Vice President responsible for the business development in 2010.
