Colfax zeigt große Seewasser-Pumpe und Turn-Key-Regelsystem auf der SMM

(firmenpresse) - (Radolfzell - 14.7.2016) Colfax Fluid Handling stellt in Hamburg auf der SMM (Halle A2, Stand 219) zwei Weiterentwicklungen für Marineanwendungen vor. Zum einen die Kreiselpumpe MI-D mit einer Förderleistung von bis zu 3.900 m3/h und 50 m, zum anderen die schlüsselfertige Variante der elektronischen Pumpenregelung CM-1000 in Schaltschränken. MI-D fördert See- und Frischwasser für Kühl- und Ballastsysteme. CM-1000 für Kühlwasserpumpen kann für Neubauten vorinstalliert oder während der Fahrt installiert werden und ohne Stillstandszeiten in Betrieb gehen.
Mit den sechs neuen Baugrößen deckt die Baureihe "Allmarine MI-D" die Anforderungen auf Schiffen zwischen etwa 60" dw t bis über 200" dw t optimal ab. Patentierte konstruktive Merkmale bei dem doppelflutigen symmetrischen Aufbau mit nur einer Wellendichtung und ohne interne Lager sowie besonders korrosionsbeständige Werkstoffe führen zu zahlreichen Vorteilen. "Die MI-D ist wahrscheinlich die leichteste, kleinste und gleichzeitig langlebigste und effizienteste Wasserpumpe für große Fördermengen bei Marine-Anwendungen", so Christian Martin, Direktor Produktmanagement. Der Wirkungsgrad liegt über 80 Prozent, während der langen Serviceintervalle ist keine Wartung nötig. Und mit NPSH-Werten unter 4 m sind diese Pumpen ideal für Ballastsysteme. 4-Pol-Motoren verringern Platzbedarf und Anschaffungskosten im Vergleich zu 6-poligen Motoren.
CM-1000 regelt die Fördermenge der Seekühlwasserpumpen nach Frischwassertemperatur und aktuellem Kühlbedarf und spart so erheblich elektrische Energie. Condition Monitoring überwacht Leckage, Vibration und Lagertemperatur und erhöht so die Verfügbarkeit. Neu ist die einsatz- und einbaufertige Lieferung der gesamten Elektronik in Schaltschränken als "Cabinet Solution" komplett mit Frequenzumrichtern. Diese Module müssen nur noch auf dem Schiff verkabelt werden. Liegt das Schiff still oder macht nur langsame Fahrt in kalter Umgebung, schaltet CM-1000 jetzt die Pumpen komplett ab ("All-Off") und automatisch bei Bedarf wieder an, was zu einer weiteren deutlichen Energieeinsparung führt. "Cooler Clogging Supervision" überwacht schließlich den Zustand der Kühler und unterstützt die Besatzung bei der Planung und Wartung des Kühlsystems.
