The Company EURO-Filter GmbH from Dortmund has now been awarded by the Economic Journal South-West in the competition for "energy efficiency" with the Innovation Award 2010th The manager Sonja Rüping and Günter Puschmann attended the award ceremony at the Westfalen Halle in Dortmund.

convinced the jury. EURO-filter established himself against a large and serious competition. The company from Dortmund won in the first place, which is awarded with 3,000 Euro.
Mr. Puschmann said in the eulogy: “Ventilation systems handle large amounts of air. 10% of the total industrial electricity consumption lies at the hands of fans and their drives. Where much is consumed, is also a big potential of savings. A key lever for reducing total cost is to reduce the pressure losses.
The technology of energy saving with low pressure-drop-filters by optimization of flow technology, not only impressed the jury.
Second place, endowed with 2,000 Euro, was awarded to Siemens AG for the software program Sinasave. This is used to calculate the energy savings potential in the drive connected via. The third prize of 1,000 euro, were delighted with the representatives of Blis Ball Screws Ltd.
