Nautical tourism in Croatia

(firmenpresse) - Croatia, in Central and Southeast Europe borders the Adriatic Sea in the south-west. The coastline of Croatia's Adriatic Sea is dotted with more than thousand islands. Though service sector dominates the economy of Croatia with industrial sector and agriculture in the following, tourism is a major revenue-generating sector in the country, especially during summers. Croatia is ranked at 18th position as the most popular destination amongst tourists across the world. The country is politically divided into 20 counties with the capital city of Zagreb, which is also the largest city of Croatia.
Nautical tourism developed in the country in nineties and today Croatia Yachtcharter is a favourite with the tourists world around. Croatia offers sailing and yachting experiences to suit everyone, from a novice to seasoned sailor. Approximately 80 charter companies provide tourists various options to the tourist sailors. Depending upon the choice and experience, sailing enthusiast have multitude of choices such as:
•Motor boats: between 14m to 16m are perfect for extended vacation. Some yachts call for a professional skipper, though most are available for bareboat charter. Motor yachts above 16 meters require a skipper for operating the yacht and a hostess to take care of other services onboard. The yachts include every modern amenity along with the latest technological equipment.
•Power boats: motor boats up to 12 m of length are ideal for daily cruises or recreational activities. Although extended vacation is not advised in these yachts/boats, they provide accommodation in at least two cabins, or sometimes in three cabins accommodating at least six passengers; in smaller but comfortable cabins. Therefore, are convenient for overnight stay.
•Gulets: are traditional wooden sailing vessels. Gulets come equipped with two options, one to sail silently with the favourable winds or to navigate with the engine power. Experienced crew including a captain, sailors, and the chef operates the gulet. Since Gulets are serviced boats guests find the experience luxurious with comfortable accommodation, best service, and privacy. The air-conditioned cabins, ample deck space for sunbathing, outside dinning/lounge area located at stern make the cruise holiday memorable.
•Catamarans: are boats with two hulls, often equal in size. Hull speeds being very high, makes the boats a perfect choice for recreational purposes. These boats are faster yet stable because of their wide beam length therefore safer. They are perfect for long cruise, with and comfortable cabins. One can choose from Catamarans over 14 m, between 12 – 14 m or under 10 m.
•Mega yacht: is an expensive and professionally crewed yacht. The luxury yachts are either power or sailing yachts, both built following the highest standards, tastefully decorated and maintained perfectly.
•Motorsailers: are quite similar to gulets, but bigger and more comfortable. A small motocruiser can sleep up to 20 guests whereas bigger motocruiser can accommodate up to 40 guests and both provide high service quality. They are the best option for families or a group on cruise holiday uuups business event such as presentation or reward programs.
