(ots) - The automotive industry in Turkey is
one of the most dynamic markets in the world. Many manufacturers have
been active in this market for several years, especially in the
commercial vehicle segment. The 3rd International CTI Conference
"Commercial Vehicles Turkey" on September 15 and 16 in Istanbul will
focus on the opportunities and challenges resulting from this
development (www.commercial-vehicles-turkey.com). New in 2014 will be
the topic of supply chain, how to manage it effectively.
The conference will be chaired by Prof. Ercan Tezer, Secretary
General of the Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) in Turkey.
More than 20 experts from Turkey, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands
and Spain will give presentations on technical and economic topics.
The presentations will be simultaneously translated into Turkish and
English. Dr Mehmet DudaroÄŸlu, President of TAYSAD, will
illustrate the new horizon of the supplier industry. Yusuf
Tuğrul Arıkan, General Manager at Anadolu ISUZU will
analyse how to improve bus export capabilities. Salih Ertör, Head of
HR at Mercedes-Benz Türk, will talk about the human resources
applications in Turkish automotive industry.
Topics such as electronic trends and connected commercial vehicles
will presented by Tuna Arıncı, General Manger at Valeo
Turkey. The global competition in the industry will be analysed by
Iskender Ulusay, Deputy General Manager at HEMA Otomotiv Sistemeleri.
Further conference topics include electrification, lightweight,
supply chain and sustainability.
